Non-profit youth mental health

Every young person deserves a way forward.

We support youth escaping gangs, sexual exploitation and criminal exploitation with outreach, counselling, intervention and safe housing — in person and through our remote services.

Who we are

Support that meets young people where they are.

BHS is a non-profit dedicated to the mental health of marginalized and exploited youth. Our culturally diverse team of counsellors, therapists, social workers and volunteers helps young people take control of their mental health and build lasting resilience.

Beyond direct care, we partner with schools, community centres and organizations to deliver workshops on trauma-informed care and cultural competency — and we work hard to remove the barriers that keep young people from getting help.
